Steele having computer troubles

I wasn’t able to upload all the screenshots yet, but I did make notes on episode 1.03 last night (guest star = Peter Scolari!). The action covers about 36 hours, and there aren’t a lot of clothing changes. Unfortunately, two of the items are worn by murder victims when they’re killed. And no sweaters for Murphy this time — maybe he wore out his welcome in Wardrobe during the previous episode. (He still looks fantastic, sweaters or not. He’s cute when he’s angry.)

Anyway, enjoy and feel free to comment. There are many more episodes to go before the whole first season is covered, but if you see something you plan to knit, give a shout out. If you’re actively working on it and posting progress pictures, I’ll blogroll you right up.

An additional note: I watched The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1975) a couple of nights ago, and spotted Doris Roberts in the credits. She played the mayor’s wife and we had totally missed her. When we watched her big scene again, we couldn’t account for not recognizing her voice. Then I looked a little closer at her IMdB listing, and noticed an uncredited role in one of my favorite movies, Barefoot in the Park (1967). Without looking it up or otherwise cheating, who can tell me what role she played in that movie?

Steele viewing

Sweaters (and ski masks!) are up from episode 1.02. Click on the thumbnails for larger versions of the pictures. Laura’s not sporting much knitwear in this one — Murphy has the lion’s share.

Steele under construction

From one Remington Steele fan to another, welcome! I hope to use this site to host knitalongs for some of the gorgeous sweaters worn on the show. I’ll link to your fan fiction, too — I know it’s out there, just tell me where it is.
